Bete Patch was created in 2020 by its founder Camila, Dm1 8 years ago.
With a great experience with DM1 and passing through several doctors in order to find a better balance for the treatment. In 2018 I went through a risky pregnancy where I met FreeStyle Libre, this very expensive sensor that changed my life and my treatment. But with it came some problems.
Being an extremely clumsy person, I lost numerous sensors during my pregnancy when bumping into doors, corners, etc.
When my son was born I came across another problem besides completely uncontrolled blood sugar, the baby pulled the sensor all the time, there were several losses until he understood that mom was extremely angry and poor with each sensor loss.
Already wanted to find a solution, it was my husband, a man exceptional and totally dedicated to helping me have the best quality of life possible with the dm1, we discovered a material made of cotton that would serve to give comfort, flexibility and protection to the sensor. It was 1 year of tests and more tests until find the perfect model and applications to guarantee safety and style to those who are uncomfortable with the "little button" White.
During the pandemic, with the impossibility of working due to being a risk group and without my job as a "makeup artist" for not being able to contact the general public, I decided to believe in the dream of having my business and embarked on the idea of taking better care of myself. being and quality of life for all DM1 and DM2.
